houses

School is a laboratory for citizenship. It’s a real house to foster desired habits and values among the children to help them to lead a useful, productive and momentous life thus moulding their personalities into responsible citizens of India. Education, if not incorporated with co-curricular activities cannot be called complete or workable. House system gives a meaning and life to any system as it has been invented to infuse a sense of team spirit, commitment, loyalty and a healthy competition.

Each house has a House Mistress, an Assistant House mistress, Captains, Vice-Captains and Prefect. Each student of the school is allocated a house. Different types of Inter House competitions covering various areas of one’s character and personality such as dramatics, elocution, quiz, recitations, drawing and painting, sports, dancing, singing are organized with a focus to polish and sharpen different skills and abilities of the students. Besides, the students are trained for community service and social work. Points are awarded to each house on the basis of the performance of their students .The house gaining the highest cock points is honoured with a running trophy.

Education does not confine to the four walls and to the formal training , the house system helps the students to enhance their potential scores and realise their latent talents. This system has become the part and parcel of the existence of the schools and should be religiously followed.
